Described as “the biggest little bar band in New York”, The Little Willies formed back in 2003 when a group of friends booked a gig at The Living Room on the Lower East side as an excuse to spend an evening playing music together. They soon discovered that they had a shared love of country music despite hailing from all over the US. This shared respect & love of the music progressed to further live shows and then onto writing original songs within a similar vein which culminated in this recording. Released on Milking Bull Records, this album includes tracks written by Willie Nelson, Hank Williams and Kris Kristofferson set alongside original compositions from the band themselves.
