Description

Atago is one of the world’s largest Aegis destroyers owned by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
This ship is an expanded and developed version of the “Kongou” class, and
is equipped with the latest Aegis combat system.

The kit reproduces the appearance of “Atago” in its latest state.
While achieving high-quality reproducibility,it has an easy-to-assemble parts configuration that can be
recommended with confidence even to those who do not usually make plastic models .The hull is divided into left and right parts, and is designed to ensure strength by sandwiching girders (supports).The deck is divided into three parts, and the central deck has the upper structure (bridge, chimney, helicopter hangar)integrated into parts.The 5-inch gun, Vulcan Phalanx, and SPG-62 fire control device are movable.A carrier-based helicopter SH-60K (1 aircraft) is included.
