Following on from our extremely popular and well received Four Classic Albums release The Miles Davis Quintet (AMSC1376) we have pulled together our fourth Miles set featuring more great music from not only the Quintet, but also his Sextet and as The Modern Jazz Giants. The music here is just fantastic and features some of the all-time great jazz musicians of the era. Three out of four of these albums feature the incomparable Milt Jackson on vibes and indeed Bags’ Groove is an acknowledged jazz classic.
