Into the Woodsis a screen adaptation based on the Tony Award winning Broadway musical by James Lapine with legendary composer Stephen Sondheim who also signed on to score all of the original compositions newly arranged and featured in the theatrical release. Music plays a fundamental role in the direction of the film and is featured as Broadway-esque musical numbers that play throughout sung by star talent: Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, James Corden, Chris Pine, Anna Kendrick, Johnny Depp, Joanna Riding, Lilla Crawford, Billy Magnussen and Daniel Huttlestone.
